Let me just say- what a crazy summer we’ve had!
Although the Summer is my favorite season to exist in, the wind down of Summer is my favorite! The days are ungodly hot and the nights are deliciously cool. That, coupled with some of the amazing fashion trends that are in right now- the outfits have been fire. So, I wanted to share 3 festival inspired summer outfits that I have been loving here recently!
Why I Love It: Comfy over everything else and that’s exactly why I love this outfit. The overall look makes me feel like I’m back in the 90’s getting ready to go out for the day- which is you know me is beyond on brand! The paperclip accents, paired with the oversized t-shirt give me the slight “edge” that I like to try and incorporate into all my looks! Another reason to love this outfit is that it’s upcycled materials (aside from the biker shorts- I’ve just had them forever!). Slow fashion is in.
Where I Plan to Wear It: This outfit is perfect for almost any occasion- although I personally love wearing it to run errands to go to the park with my dogs! The biker shorts and loose top give me plenty of freedom to stay cool when I’m outside but are easy to cover up with a pair of sweats or a simple sweater if you get too cool.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Why I Love It: This outfit gives me total blasts from the past- like a modern-day version of what Cher in Clueless would wear! That’s probably the main reason I love this outfit. Not to mention, it’s another comfy casual look. The tennis skirt paired with a cute pair of high top shoes is the perfect combination for a day on the go, while still maintaining comfort and style.
Where I Plan to Wear It: This is going to be the perfect outfit for brunching with my family or going out for a day excursion around the city! The comfort, paired with the pure “chic” feel makes it the perfect outfit to look cute while out, but not feel too overdressed in comparison to everyone around you.
Why I Love It: Last, but certainly not least, this outfit gives me every badass and e-girl vibe that I could ever want. The pants are probably one of my pride and joys- I waited almost 2 months before they went on sale and got the last ones in my size! *meep*! The pants are beyond comfy and high-waisted which is my cup of tea. Paired with the mesh top makes it edgy and fun.
Where I Plan to Wear It: You would catch me wearing this baby for a night out. I always find myself getting cold in bars and clubs, so a solid pair of breathable pants are essential for me. This is also an outfit that I would definitely wear to a festival (and will when the season returns!)
