How to Buy Imagine Music Festival Tickets
Buying music festival tickets can be so overwhelming and Imagine Music Festival is no exception. So I’m sharing exactly how to buy Imagine Music Festival tickets! Festival websites are slightly confusing (or there’s just so much information) how do you digest? So I’m sharing all the tricks to know exactly which ticket and camping pass you need for Imagine 2021.
What is Essential?
Clearly, with every festival you need to make sure you have the right passes to not only camp/park, but also GET INTO the actual music venue! Clearly, your festival outfits are second, but we’ll get there later. To successfully buy Imagine Music Festival tickets, you’re going to need one festival ticket per person AND one camping ticket per car.
Festival Ticket
To get access into Imagine’s main music venue, attendees will need to make sure that they have ONE festival ticket per person. You will need it every day of the festival- so don’t give it away, take it off or lose it!
Camping/Parking Ticket
There are two ways to get into the grounds of Imagine- with a car camping pass or day parking pass. Parking passes are available for daily entry for those of you who don’t want to camp. For those of you who do (which I highly recommend), there are couple different options. Check out the breakdown below for more info!
The most entry level ticket anyone can purchase is going to be a GA festival ticket.
This festival ticket grants to wearer only access into the actual music venue for all three days of the event. You will still require a camping ticket in addition to this festival ticket to get access into the campgrounds for your car.
Tickets Status: Tier 4 – $329 (before fees)

Another advantageous (and highly recommended) way to get festival tickets is via bundles. Imagine offers several different ones that include camping, however, most are already sold out for 2021. However, in the future, they’re a great way to save some extra money or get additional freebies (like extra camping passes, gear, etc.)

Standard VIP Passes are the next ‘level’ in the festival ticket hierarchy.
VIP tickets include all the same amenities as GA and include some additional perks (clearly). Imagine VIP tickets include express entry into the venue, exclusive viewing areas, lounge and VIP services, AND private VIP trailer restrooms.
Tickets Status: Tier 4 – $499 (before fees)
(Tiers 1-3: Sold Out)
Camping tickets are the next most important item to have for the festival. New for Imagine 2021 is that camping passes are only required per car!
If you’re not interested in camping with your car, that’s okay! There are tent only options, companion camping, and RVs!
GA Camping Options:
GA Car Camping – $149
- 20×20 spot for your car (enough space for your car and 1-2 tents depending on size)
GA Tent Only Camping (for 2) – $99
- 10×15 spot for you and your tent (no space for your car)
Companion (GA) Camping – $59
- Companion passes are for those camping groups with more than two people. Although the site says passes aren’t required per person, they absolutely are.
Essentially the same deal as GA tickets, however, VIP grounds are typically closer to the venue entrances with a few extra amenities.
Another important point, you do need to have a camping wristband per person.

Companion (vip) Camping – $99
- Companion passes are for those camping groups with more than two people. Although the site says passes aren’t required per person, they absolutely are.
4 Pack GA Bundle with Camping – Sold Out
With most festivals, there’s always an option to upgrade the camping experience! Imagine offer’s those interested different camping options through their vendor partner Unity Travel.
Although these options do tend to cost a little more, they definitely afford you the luxury that you don’t typically get when you’re camping.
Single Qube – $999
Double Qube – $1999
If you’re rolling with a large squad, then group camping is where you need to be! At Imagine, these spots are for groups of 5-10 that are all interested in camping together.
Group camping at Imagine is only VIP, which means those in the group will have access to the VIP grounds and amenities. At great addition to the group package at Imagine is that Thursday early arrival is included!
Group Camping :
- 30×30 camping spot
- 5-10 VIP wristbands
- Two car parking spots
- Thursday early arrival
RVs are such an experience, so if you have access to one, I highly recommend bringing it! Not only do they offer all the normal amenities of home (bathroom, shower, kitchen), but they are also the spot to go once the festival starts to ‘end’.
There are always a couple different options when you RV and Imagine has those:
VIP RV Rentals – $5399
RV With Power – $1599
RV Without Power – $599
For those attendees that want to add some more fun to their tickets, add-on’s are the perfect option.
At Imagine, most everything is included in your ticket. However, if you’re looking to join the fun a day early, then you’ll need to make sure and purchase an early arrival add-on. And of course, they’re per person. So plan accordingly.
Thursday early arrival – $69
Hotel takeovers are always a huge part of festivals, especially for those attendees that are able, interested, or willing to camp for multiple days. Another perk, the festivals shuttle pickup and drop off locations are at these hotels! Oh, and did I mention this means that the enter hotel is ONLY festival guests? How rad- I know. So go make some friends!

Fairfield Inn & Suites: $169
If you’re looking to extend your trip, or just want to stay somewhere a little less rowdy and more quite, check out one of the festivals hotel partners. These locations offer flexible check-in and out dates, however, don’t offer a shuttle pickup and drop off location.
Holiday Inn Express – $143
Best Western Plus – $149
