What You Need to Know:
Parking & Shuttles For Imagine Festival
With the move to a new location for 2021, Imagine Music Festival is breaking out all the stops to ensure that attendees are able to get to the farm quickly and safely. They’ve finally shared the details regarding transportation for the event! In this post, we’re breaking down all the information for you all so you know exactly what to know about parking and shuttles at Imagine Festival. Make sure you fully prepare for the event with my all encompassing Imagine Music Festival Survival Guide!
Parking Options
There are a few different ways to ‘attend’ Imagine Music festival. Some attendees are camping, others are only arriving for Imagine single-day passes, and others are staying in the Imagine hotel takeovers! This means there are several different options available to attendees and selecting the right one is very important. Parking lots are available close to the venue for attendees to utilize as long as they purchase a parking-pass. Parking passes are also a great way to get creative with the limitations presented when you decide not to camp!
Who Should Purchase These Options?
- Attendees who are not camping next to their car (AKA: You did not purchase a car camping ticket)
- Those who purchased 'tent only' camping
- Anyone that is carpooling and camping next to someone else's car in the grounds
- Attendees who are driving multiple cars and staying in hotels, that would like to have a safe location to store extra gear and merch purchases throughout the event without the hassling of coming and going with an uber or shuttle
- Anyone who's purchased a single-day or multiple single-day passes
On-Site Parking
This is the closest lot to the grounds and allows attendees access to their cars throughout the entire event for all four days. This is ideal for those of you who are not camping next to your car specifically, or whom are tent camping. This is also ideal for those of you staying at hotels, but who want to have access to store and grab important items throughout the event without returning to your hotel.
Cost: $149+fees
Upper Bay Parking & Shuttle
This lot is farther away from the main venue and does require attendees to take a quick 5-10 minute shuttle ride to and from the event. This is an ideal option for attendees that don’t plan on returning to their car frequently, or who are camping with another group. Options are available to purchase single-day and four-day tickets. This is not an ideal location to cart your gear to-and-from as you DO ride a shuttle with typically has limited space.
Cost: $129+fees (4-day)
Cost: $39+ Fees (single-day)
Shuttles & Schedule
For those of you that aren’t going the camping route, there are shuttle options available! According to the schedule, they run about every 90-minutes. There is an important call out here- the shuttles only start return trips at 11:00pm- 2:00am. Plan accordingly. For those of you that are going to try and go longer, we’ll talk about ride shares and drop-off/pick-up locations in a moment.
Who Should Purchase These Options?
- Anyone who isn't camping within the festival grounds
- Anyone who plans to stay very late, the unity one way departure hotel shuttle is for you! (it can be very hard and expensive to get a lyft/uber late).
- Those of you who are staying in hotels, AirBnBs, etc.
There are four available shuttle routes that attendees can choose from. Make sure to pay for the proper parking if you park near a shuttle location & don’t park in the hotels. THEY WILL TOW YOU. For those of you that are attending the pre-party on Thursday and want to shuttle, you will need a SEPARATE pass.

RIdeshare, Uber, & Lyft
With the new venue, the Imagine team has taken the forethought to create a designated space for rideshare services to arrive and drop off! This is a huge game changer because the end of the night scramble can be really crazy! These are ideal options for those of you who are staying at the hotels but maybe don’t need a shuttle pass. Disclaimer: high surge rates and limited drivers in the area there may be unexpected long wait-time or difficulty getting a RETURN TRIP home. I go into all of the nitty gritty details about the pros and cons of hotels and camping at festivals all over on my Youtube– make sure you give it a watch!
Clearly- there are some great options available for attendees to make their trips as easy as possible! However, for those of you that are planning on camping, make sure you head over to my Bonnaroo security and car checks post- although it’s for Roo, Imagine is VERY similar!
