IT’S OFFICIALLY SUMMERTIME Y’ALL!
Now that June is finally here I feel like it’s finally summertime. It’s such a great feeling- although this summer has a bittersweet feeling since we won’t be attending festivals in person, I’m so confident that this is going to be an amazing summer of growth, opportunity, and memories.
As many of you know, if you’ve been following me on Youtube, I’ve been exceptionally excited about all of the changes to come. With all of the changes going on in my personal life though, it’s only fitting that there be changes coming to Rave Hackers too! For this month’s Memo from the Editor, I’m sharing some big changes for RH & all the goodies to come in the future!
Outside of giving RH the face-lift that it needs, I’ve been taking a bit of a hiatus from content and social media. Although I’ve missed interacting with everyone, it’s been a much-needed break. But I’m finally back! It’s time to start moving and grooving again- which means new content!
I am SO excited to finally be able to share the new Rave Hackers logo! This is something that’s been a couple of months in the making- with CV-19 hitting and then my “IRL” life creating roadblocks, I’m so relieved & happy that this project is finally completed and live for you all!
If you’re a returning subscriber (TY I love & appreciate all your support!), then you may know that the Rave Hacker’s logo has been with me for a while. I launched RH back in 2017 after the hardest, summer festival experience of my life, with the logo that you all are likely used to seeing! BUT, with all the big moves that RH has made, I felt like it was time to give it the branding and logo I know it deserves!
The biggest of special shout/out’s to the amazing artist that helped me create this! My girl Lucy Knowles (@LucyKArt) truly blew my mind with this one and brought all my inspiration and ideas to life. So thank you so much for making this such an amazing experience! I’m stoked for our hopeful future projects together!
Part of taking this ‘time away’ (if you will) has been to really focus on what I can give you all to serve your lives better. With it being clear that festival season this year is likely going to be experienced from the comforts of our AC houses & couches (silver linings right?), it took me some time to really figure out what content to create for you all!
A huge part of this website has been around bringing festivals/EDM culture into your every-day lives. Not just live & experience that culture and ‘vibe’ when you’re at the festival! Part of that though is posting more regularly and just outright, more! So, check out the new RH content schedule!
As the name suggests, this content is released every Sunday at 8:00 AM.
Sundays are days dedicated to Youtube! Make sure you’re following me over there. These topics will vary from post to post but all are focused around EDM culture and lifestyle.
This is also the day that I’ll reserve for “going live”. Think champagne and mimosas!
